Homewired was formed with the intention to provide a low cost alternative to mainstream retail cabling suppliers. Retail stores put huge margins on cables and accessories in the hope that they can bundle them with a major equipment purchase. If you can plan ahead a little or are willing to wait a few days you can potentially save hundreds of dollars by buying the cables and accessories you need though Homewired. We import most of our products directly and have minimal overhead so can reduce the cost to the consumer.

We are also the first to offer Cat5e cabling kits that contain everything you need to fit off your Cat5e cabling without doing any wiring or using any special tools. The kits include wall plates and Cat5e couplers that you can plug a pre-made Cat5e cable into the back of. This eliminates the trickiest part of the cabling job, terminating the cable. It also eliminates faults caused by mis-wiring and bad connections.

We have a good range of quality HDMI cables and HDMI extender products as well as other AV cables and can offer advice on the best solution for your particular AV installation requirements.

For AV wall plates we have some fixed configuration plates but mostly rely on the keystone system wall plates, these are cost effective and have the widest range of inserts available. If the wall plate configuration you need isn't listed you can mix and match and create your own wall plate. We have inserts for RCA (Red, Green, Blue, White, Yellow), HDMI, Toslink, PAL, F-type, S-video, USB, RJ-45, Banana (speaker) and Firewire. Just let us know what you want and we'll add a new listing for you.

Shipping

Shipping is via Australia Post, alternatively for orders over 5kg you may request the cheapest available courier rate. If you select this option when checking out please allow some time for us to process the request, we will then update your order and notify you by email, you can then log into the account page to view your order and pay though Paypal if applicable.

Pickup

Pickup is available from Cranbourne North, contact us for details.

Support

If you have any problems with the product please contact us for support, if within 12 months the product is found to be faulty you may return the product for a replacement or full refund.

The buyer can return the product themselves or alternatively request a prepaid parcel post satchel be sent to them to return the product (Australia only).

Returns

Return the product within 30 days for whatever reason and receive a full refund. The buyer is responsible for the return shipping costs unless the product is faulty in which case the above mentioned options apply.

Postage is refundable except for the case where one or more items from a multiple item order are returned in which case postage is not refundable unless the item/s returned represent a significant proportion of the postage costs in which case the difference in the respective postage costs is refundable.
